Driver IC& PCBA

Driver IC & PCBA The driver IC & PCBA is a basic component of LCD's. The main function of Driver ICs is to output the needed voltage of the pixels and control the rotate level of liquid crystal. There are two types of Driver ICs, the Source Driver IC and the Gate Driver IC. The Source Driver IC manages the information input and has high-frequency and imaging functions. The Gate Driver IC determines the rotation and speed of liquid crystal. The defects due to Driver IC & PCBA Source and Gate driver IC Defects (Line, Bar, Band, Abnormal Display), Whiteout, Gray Scale Defect, Blackout, Repair action for the above mentioned defects is to replace respective source, Gate Diver IC and Components in the X-board

Polarizer

In LCDs, polarizers are used to produce visible images. A polarizer is a layer of light-filtering crystalline material. There are typically two polarizers in LCDs, both of which control the type of light that passes through them. LCDs contain a lighting system, known as a backlight, that illuminates their pixels. Before reaching the pixels, though, light must pass through the polarizers. The polarizers are responsible for creating visible images by controlling the brightness of the LCD’s pixels.

Back Light Unit (BLU)

A component used as a light source for liquid crystal displays (LCD) that cannot emit light on their own. BLUs play the role of evenly illuminating the display’s image on the back of the LCD so that it can be seen. Types of BLUs include CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) BLU and LED (Light Emitting Diode) BLU. LED BLU consumes less power than CCFL BLU, so they conserve energy. Also, since they don’t use mercury, they don’t generate carbon dioxide, making them a more eco-friendly option.

PCBA

The Defects of PCBA are No Power, No Display, Abnormal Display. Repair action for the above mentioned defects is to replace Power section Display section active and passive compnents.
